LSGH'08 Yearbooks

LSGH Batch 2008!!
*some info ripped of from other messages. Like Froi's and Willy's :D

Yearbooks are out, please claim them as soon as you can!

Where : LSGH Lobby
When : Saturday
Time : 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Claim it on Saturday! If not, then you will have to wait for the DVD Yearbooks to be released before you can get the big yearbook. Why? Remember that Ms. Indrie (Scope Mod) is also the Executive Assistant to the President, meaning she is also really busy. It's not exactly easy for her to entertain one or two people at a time and walk all the way to the Scope office. So please do claim it on Saturday.

For those who cannot claim it on Saturday but would like someone else to claim it, you will need to present an authorization letter. Remember to Sign it!

Sample:

Dear Ms. _____,

This is a letter of authorization allowing Mr./Ms. _______ to claim my yearbook. I am not able to claim my yearbook becuase (excuse here)

Thank you

Rey Pinyoko
4H
Batch 2008

During the SCOPE driver last year, if you solicited more than 2,500 php, then you don't have to pay.

If however you solicited less than 2,500 php, then you have to pay additional in order to claim the yearbook. Plus, if you have other unsettled accounts like the Graduation Picture package, you will have to settle them first before the yearbook is released.

Batch unity again? I know we all miss each other, so at around 10 a.m. there should be a lot of people there. I will bring my camera just in case. So please try to go there at around that time.

Why is the security strict? As what the other blogs said, people just can't enter anymore. If before several alumni can just enter and visit, this time a lot of calls have to be made. Even Search-in alumni who orient need clearance. It is probably because of Jun Lozada (Yes, he's still in LSGH until now) and are worried about his security and stuff. Also, I heard from Ms. Lyn (upper years secretary) that there were complaints of several alumni who bother teachers while inside the classroom, so they are now stricter.

Anyway, I've been talking to JayJay Malixi (a board member of the Alumni Association) and they are trying to do something about this, because apparently it's not only our batch that's affected.

Sorry, pretty long. See you all on Saturday! ANIMO! :D

Subic!

Subic is almost over, and I am in no mood to blog about the entire trip here... so just.. well, ask me in person nalang!

I must warn everyone about the pictures, Anaelle and Karen camwhored while I was sleeping, so they finished the battery and they also finished around, 400+ pics? I don't know, in other words my next album is going to be full.

I'm leaving for Bacolod on Thursday morning, I'll resume regular programming when I'm back :D

1:20 am in the hotel lobby.. argh.. I needed internet so badly

Wise Words.. not at 3.am. ;)

Before I go into post-press mode *post press is a term in The Guidon (the newspaper of Ateneo) when you criticize the articles, the design and the over-all layout of the paper, check out the website here* I'll share a short story first.

Anyway, this is about Physics Orals. And I probably spent a really long time studying for this. Of all the questions, I was hoping that one question wouldn't get chosen. I was ready for everything, meaning 19/20 questions I had A-able answers with one question will not give an answer at all... aside from bullshit.

Anyway, long story short, I got that one item, the bull shit item. The question was "How did Thomas Young explain that light is made out of waves?" Maybe I just spent too much time looking into electrical shielding or, even relativity (I had awesome examples!), that I forgot to think about the last lesson. Which means, I most likely fucked up the exam.

Later on that night, I saw the Chrissie was studying for her orals the next day, so I talked to her and sent her my codigo/notes. While I was helping her study, despite me being on sembreak mode already, I made kwento about the entire details, how I picked the card that was closest to me and thus getting the awful question. Then, she said the inside joke between those in the class of Mr. Andrade:

Chrissie Torres:  just particle that he thinks what you said was right

If you want to find out what particle actually means.. just ask me

Anyway. I kinda forgot about that little talk, because while at Taft, that was all I could think about "Sorry people I visited!". Anyway, okay lang, don't really mind it anymore. Hello A in the finals *PARTICLE*

------------------------------------------

I visited Taft yesterday. Said hi to several people, wasn't able to say hi to a lot of people *awww*, but it's okay, the TAKSIL boys will be there next week. Abangan.

Ok, post press time.

The day after Tiusday, what chatting can do.

The free day has given me more time to, well rest. It was actually fun waking up knowing very well that you don’t have to go to school that day. Meaning, no spending, a day in your bed, or chair, on the computer doing whatever you please.

But, if you have 2 long tests tomorrow, what do you end up doing?

Chatting.

Can I just say I read Tet’s blog earlier, and when Angela replied I just had to ask her if she was also victimized. The time was 3:17:26. By the end of our discussion, and probably our long catching-up moments, it was already 6:22:46. We haven’t really talked since, someday. Sure I’d see her when I’d go to Taft or during UAAP, but actually talking, no. Yes, we chatted for 3 hours, 5 minutes and 20 seconds. So much for Math and Fil long tests tomorrow.

It's crazy how long we actually end up chatting with someone without realizing that, oh.. 3 hours and 5 minutes down the drain! But chatting is worth it, right?

*Yahoo Messenger with Voice doesn't actually have voice.*

Next Segment, realizations.

Last Tuesday I was talking to my Filipino teacher, and she mentioned that everyone in Fil10 goes to Fil11. So, honestly what’s the point of actually being demoted that you’re a sure promotion? Unless you overcut of course. Sorry sorry, another big rant about the demotion system in Ateneo. 15% of our Fil10 grade goes to Fil11.

I’m actually always late now, like 5-15 minutes late. If Jio’s ea

rly, there’s something wrong, it means I probably didn’t bother sleeping the night before or I was driving unreasonably fast along C5. My lateness has proven to be my downfall, I decided to chose late over absent last Tuesday for Fil, and when I arrived, around 45 minutes late (half of the period), class was over and all Ma’am did was talk about our final project. Naturally, she wouldn’t repeat it. Being late is crazy though, being late is the same reason why I failed my Filipino Diagnostic exam and is the same reason why I have 5 cuts in English.

I realized that if I went to the bonfire, I’d just get my shoes muddy. And, come on, spending time with 4H or go to the bonfire of the school I don’t support? 4H! Don’t get me wrong though, if the bonfire was on a different day, I’d probably go there. Plus, only adults over 21 can get booze. Booze at 4H with food and of course, Rockband! And and and, I’d probably just get pissed once they start talking about La Salle. I saw a picture *credit to Mark, thanks!* and I’d probably just walk out or something.

There’s also this saying in AdMU that maximum effort, minimum results. So, if we take that logically we can also conclude that minimum effort, maximum results!. Boys and girls, studying is a thing of the past! *no Jio, not helping*

*intermission... someone got drunk last night! hahaha!*

*another intermission... someone watched an LA Galaxy game! hahaha!*

I’m becoming an alcoholic. Not Jio at all. I can’t get drunk, I always drive home, but I drink once in a while. I drank 3 times in the past 5 days. Of course, didn’t get drunk, someone just had to go home with a car and enjoy the luxury of the sims 2.

Finals next week, Search-in this weekend. Oh no! Another long weekend full of Math with Pabs.

As I said I’m planning to kickstart my journalistic, or blogging career soon. Watch out, once classes are over...

Ok, writing time is over, now time to, well... ok I swear I’m going to read now! Ciao.

This bites

Ok, so we have a long test in Math next week and I don't understand a damn thing.
In fact, it was sleepfest in Math a while ago with around half of the class sleeping, and and.. here's the catch.. he didn't notice anyone!

I slept for an hour.

And.. well not really a big deal but the math long test is during the possible playoff between DLSU and FEU. So.. I'm missing an important game? Goodness. Ok, fine acads first, not a big deal at all anyway, I'll just not miss the final four.

To top it all off..

I have a sprain the really hurts. I can't walk. DLSU people, congrats with your grades!
