Quotes and Macaroni Soup dont match

There are two tragedies in life, one is to lose your hearts desire, the other is to gain it
-George Bernard Shaw

Opposing quotes make you think so hard. It struck me though, I was watching One Tree Hill and eatign Macaroni Soup then suddenly the quote was read. I didnt take it down and the Macaroni soup spilled all over my pants :(( Besides the point, the quotation is really nice and made me think so hard. For some reason, I love cotnradicting quotes.

Besides that, I have a very common quote to all
Practice makes perfect

Im sure you have heard of this quote already. I guess with constant practice, we cna become better. Vince reminded me last night to blog something about our band practice last Friday, truth is I've already did, in my friendster blog :P

Practice was a blast though, Ericson Pacaba came in for a visit and jammed (well, im not sure about that) with us. Though he was pretty shy at first, but he eventually got into the hang of things. But, he came at 5 pm, way after our practice time. So lets push the rewind button and see what happened before he arrived......

I arrived late since mom used Edwin (the driver) for the whole morning, she forgot that I had to go to Vince's place and she forgot to pick up my sister as well(Poveda called me twice). I was pretty frustrated that morning, but it suddenly ended once we started jamming. We played Two Trick Pony, Californication, Mr. Clay, Zephyr, Hallelujah and The Day you said Goodnight. We are close to perfecting some songs already, preparing for some bigger events :) After that we had pizza and then Jericho came. Well thats that for practice.

Okay more on Today:
Failed my first exam (Soc Sci) by 2 points (deeemn.. so close!). Aside from that, chess practice was cancelled, and finally, we are about to finish HS Web Work.. phew. And I learned that I cant read fluent Filipino...

Thats about it for today. Just a regular day in school, nothing much happened, nothing extra ordinary (except maybe for Tim Ellamil's crack up jokes and "pang-gagago" to Mr. Ben during band class) happened today :)
