Too selfish..

Last saturday, the UAAP board ruled that the UE won that DLSU vs UE Game, even though the Archers played their heart out to get an overtime win against UE. And to award the win to a team less deserving than the team who plays with heart is simply injustice. And why? It all goes to selfishness. The UAAP Technical Commitee members voted to favor team and not to uphold justice. But I have to commend Mr. Ricky Palou of Ateneo, for actually siding with justice :)

Anyway why am I talking about selfishness? For one thing selfishness always affects another person, usually indirectly. Our country, the opposition and the leaders both are too selfish. I dont want to expound on that anymore, maybe someone is actually reading my blog :P But selfishness kills. A better example would be this afternoon, when Id ask some of my club members to type things. Some would complain that its too long, some even tried to make excuses why they shouldnt type. Well, some people dont stay up till 2 in the morning to finish a website, some people dont stay in school till 6 to work on it. And they are complaining on typing something that shouldnt even take half a page in Word? That really frustrated me this afternoon. Someone even lost that 4th year honors list which is why I was copying it from the honors list. Cant they do anything right? Instead of making things lighter for us, they are actually making it more complicated. They are helpful, but just a handful, ther others are there just for the internet and the others are there for taking pleasure out of annoying me. Frustrating.
