Selflessness

This morning, I recieved a text messege from Jannoi:

jio, nbsa mo na news? ung DLSU myt forfeit the 2004 title?

I thought it was a bad joke, then I thought that the board has dug something up once again to really bring down DLSU. Though, I have arrived at the most shocking, yet the most unexpected conclusion. DLSU admitted it, they said they had 1 player who is inelligable for the past 3 years. Honestly, it take a lot of guts to say that, knowing all the consequences they are facing. But, im really proud that it was DLSU who addressed the issue first before letting the UAAP Board dig it out of La Salle. The price may be the Championship, but DLSU did not decide for itself rather for the integrity of the UAAP, and the school perhaps. They just didnt think of their basketball program but others first. Selflessness, Id like to say.

Politicans should follow what DLSU just did, instead of going for personal intersets, why not see the intersets of the entire country? Something I stated in the Soc Sci exam last Tuesday, in order to change our country, one must practice selflessness and instill them in the mind and hearts of the youth.

And other news, exam week has been deadly, so far. With the past 4 exams, Id rate them according to difficulty:

1. Soc Sci
2. Science
3. CL
4. English

Mind you, none of them were easy, all very challenging and I didnt finish any of them in a flash. It took me at least 30 mins for CL, 1 whole period for Science, Soc Sci and English.

Math and Filipino are my last 2 exams. Need a good score in Math...
