The slight breeze of the morning wind

Last Monday, I woke up really early, 5 o’clock in the morning I was already awake and was preparing for school. 5:45, I was ready, may bag sat at the hallway near the door, and my dad seated at the sofa nearest the stairs. The usual morning greetings included the kissing in the cheek and asking for my allowance, then I sit at the other sofa closest to the window. As I looked out, something was telling me to go out, I don’t know what, so I followed my instinct and stepped out and it was cold, the wind was kissing me softly and making my jacket sway very slowly, I could see the waves of the pool all moving to the right and the trees swaying back and fourth. Then I looked at the sky and saw the sun, rising.

Maybe it was an omen of things to come, the scene was very tranquil. So relaxing, makes me wonder what will happen this week. Maybe it was just a short lived moment of serenity before the hard week comes along, the calm before the storm perhaps. Or maybe it’s a sign of the possible luck im getting this week. I scored pretty well in my test a while ago during math period, and still striving for more. I need to study for Social Science and Science, I flunked the 2nd quarter, and I underachieved. Things are really starting to repeat itself, I remember during those stressful times during grade 7 when my grades started falling unexpectedly, and its all happening again. I have to make sure history won’t repeat itself by working extra harder during the 3rd Quarter. After all there aren’t that many activities during the 3rd quarter, just the PRADA and SBMA perhaps and nothing more. The HS Website is done and will update it only once a week and the UAAP season will be over. 3rd Quarter is the perfect time to get back at academics.
