I never really liked April fools day. I don’t see how joking around makes someone euphoric. Is it the joke or is it the idiotic, concerned or embarrassed expression on someone face. Though, bad jokes do circulate and it does affect people. I have nothing against jokers, not at all, though sometimes I don’t know where the borderline of a joke and a fact lies. If jokes are indeed half-meant, then I guess fact is much closer to a joke then what it is supposed to be. One example of a bad joke I received this afternoon was that Mr. Aleta died; I believed it for a while until I was told it was a joke, a bad joke. And that is one reason why I am not meant to be laughed with, I am meant to be laughed at. I’m so gullible that I was easily preyed upon by these jokes. I prefer to be laughed at. I never say jokes; on the occasion I do I get the weeeh treatment from everyone. Sometimes, because of my facial expression and how I say it, people actually think it’s for real. Now I’m really praying that something told to me last night is just a joke, I prefer not to share it.

The Da Vinci code has been a constant point of controversy for a really long time. I never really wanted to read it because of all of these things surrounding it. The day when I finally bought the book was the same day when the article from the Vatican came out stating that we shouldn’t buy it or read it. I asked several of my friends whether I should read it or not, and they simply said yes, simply because it is fiction. That was enough but my deep faith has constantly stopped me from reading the book. A few weeks ago I finally decided to open it up and take a small peek at it. I’ve caught myself reading it once in a while and a sudden interest. But in the end of the day, it’s really up to the reader whether he would like to believe in fiction or to continuously believe in the faith in which he grew up with.

I think I mentioned once that I am a frustrated comedian. I remember mentioning that particular post that I am better yet laughed at than laughed with. But today, I’m going to infer how come everybody loves fried chicken. Honestly, go to McDonalds, Jolibee, Kentucky Fried Chicken and several other fast food chains, I’m sure Chicken would fall on the top three most ordered. Go to any restaurant and you’ll see constantly chicken is ordered. Everybody loves chicken, fried chicken that is. What so particular about fried chicken is how much cholesterol there is in its skin, yet how juicy and soft the meat hidden under a vast layer of fat. Everyone just loves fried eagle, este! Fried chicken. It’s always a good treat if enjoyed with the family. Though feasting over fried chicken is always the best!
The UAAP board is sending the wrong message to their students once again. If procrastinating is discouraged, then why is it that these guys continuously and, perhaps, deliberately extend the decision making whether DLSU will be suspended or not? Soon people from Taft won’t only be feasting on fried eagle, but fried falcon as well. I guess we aren’t afraid to taste a tiger or a tamaraw as well. April 21, should be that day when I can finally:
Option A: Rest and be Happy
Option B: Die of a heart-attack
Option C: Open animal hunting season
Ironically, the UAAP board openly criticized DLSU because they were to slow to come out with results in their investigation. But right now, it’s been 5 months and they couldn’t answer one question. Welcome to the Philippines my friends!
