Time to update

3 months of having writers block is bad, really bad. (sorry Ms. Kate for that really bad Australian article)

So last Friday I was sent home from school. I didn’t really like it because it was the last day, and to get sent home during a half day? Fortune wasn’t on my side. For those who are curious I was sent home because I had a cut inside my right eye, particularly at the cornea. That’s what the doctor said after I had a check-up with him right after being sent home. Although the doctor said I can go on with my regular activities today, so being sent home was actually a blessing. He also told me that no medicine will heal this thing (damn!) and all I have to do is wait for a couple of months. So I though a couple of months of enduring this pain would kill me, but then I realized that my eye stopped hurting right after I left school (hmmm, I wonder why). My dad was a bit reluctant to let me practice with Sabaw (my band) but he eventually allowed me. So at lunch I set of for Vince’s place, practiced, and went home.

Saturday I went to the STC family day, met Bianca and Denise, friends of Awin and Jaco. The only cool thing was when Jaco chased Denise at the, uhhmmm, I don’t know, field? Quadrangle? Well whatever she chased him and I was just laughing. Then I went polo scouting (and a bit of day dreaming) at Boss. The polo was so nice, the price was not. Jaco and I also had a food marathon at Shangrila.

1st Stop – Jio: Rice Burger, Large Fries and Large Coke at McDonalds; Jaco: Rice Burger, Large Fries and Large Coke at McDonalds

2nd Stop – Jio: Chicken Steak meal at KFC (and ate Jaco’s Large Fries); Jaco – Salmon Sashimi (from a certain Japanese restaurant), Chicken Orange and Large coke at KFC.

Food tripping was fun.

Monday was Tunog Dos day. Hannah can’t make it, I forgot to invite my other friends (or I can’t contact them), and my other friends backed out. Practice in the afternoon, play in the evening, and champions in the morning! Phew what a day. When our names were announced, most of us were, well sabaw already. We couldn’t believe it. But now, luck was definitely on our side!
